Mr. Muhamad Diki Permana (from Indonesia, supervisor: Professor Takahiro Takei), a second-year doctoral student in Energy Materials Science Course, Green Energy Conversion Science and Technlogy Major, won the Award for his presentation at the 6th Ceramic Resources and Environmental Materials Division Symposium, held on Thursday, July 4th at the Morito Memorial Hall of Tokyo University of Science.

The award was given for “Studies on Fe2+/Fe3+ Redox Cycle of Fe3O4/g-C3N4 in Photocatalysis and Photo-Fenton System: Effect of Wavelength in Light Irradiation,” which investigated the effect of the wavelength of irradiated light on the Fe2+ and Fe3+ redox cycle in the photocatalysis and photo-Fenton reaction of Fe3O4 and g-C3N4 composites, and is a result that may enable the reduction of Fe by light irradiation, which is usually difficult.

The award was given to the best presentation out of seven student presentations at the symposium.

Message:
I am honored to have been selected for the Award. I can receive this award because of professors and members of a group who have worked?with me. I would like to say thank you and will continue to do my best.”
